Data Deletion Instructions

You can unlink your Instagram conversation, request deletion of Instagram-associated data, or request deletion of your complete BatchBot account. BatchBot will never ask for your Instagram password.

Unlink Your Instagram Conversation

You can unlink without deleting your BatchBot account in either of these ways:

  • Send unlink in your Instagram conversation with the official BatchBot Instagram account.
  • Open BatchBot Settings, find “Instagram identity,” and select Unlink.

Unlinking removes the association between your Instagram sender identity and your BatchBot account, along with related pairing records. Products, avatars, and generated content already stored in your BatchBot account are not deleted. You can send link in the Instagram conversation if you want to reconnect later.

Delete Instagram-Associated Data

To request deletion of Instagram-associated information without deleting your BatchBot account, email turner@batchbot.io. Include:

  • The email address on your BatchBot account
  • Your Instagram username
  • A statement that you want your Instagram-associated BatchBot data deleted

We may ask you to verify control of the BatchBot account or Instagram conversation before completing the request. Do not send us your Instagram password.

Delete Your Complete BatchBot Account

Email turner@batchbot.io from the email address on your BatchBot account and request complete account deletion. After verifying the request, we will delete or de-identify the account and associated user content, subject to limited records we must retain for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, or legal obligations.

What Instagram Information BatchBot Processes

  • A sender-scoped Instagram identifier supplied by Meta
  • Your Instagram username, when available
  • The association between your Instagram conversation and BatchBot account
  • Messages, reels, images, and links you choose to send to BatchBot
  • Short-lived pairing records and duplicate-delivery protection identifiers

BatchBot does not receive your Instagram password and does not gain access to your Instagram account, inbox, followers, or conversations with other accounts.
